As “the face and voice of the Chamber”, Pete utilizes his 25 years of business experience and vast contact network to vigorously advocate for the business community of southern Saratoga County and beyond.   Follow him on Facebook to join in his travels as he works to connect members with new opportunities.   A former business owner, Pete has been on numerous chamber and nonprofit boards, and makes good use of his science background to be an effective business leader here in New York’s Tech Valley.  Pete also works closely with the Board of Directors to create and implement a shared vision for the Chamber.

Sheila Whinnery

Sheila provides day-to-day assistance to both the members and the Chamber team. She is a liaison between the Chamber team, members and the community at large. Sheila brings a tremendous amount of insight to our membership with over twenty five years of Chamber experience. She is a friendly and knowledgeable greeter and often first point of contact for visitors and members. Sheila is the contact for certificates of origin, Conference Center space rentals and acts as the staff liaison for  Women in Business Committee, as well as the Chamber’s Leads Groups. . She manages the Information Center at the I-87 Exit Rest Area, along with day to day finance operations. Sheila is a lifelong resident of Saratoga County.

As the newest member of the Chamber team, Heather brings vast experience in several areas of sales and customer service.   Heather obtained Bachelor’s Degrees in Business & Technology Management and Humanities from Clarkson University in 2007.  Since then, though out her career, Heather has worked in various industries including Medical Devices, Woodworking and Abrasives, and several areas of Technology.  As an active member of the Chamber, Heather has experience in many aspects of the Chamber including membership development and retention, and event management.  Heather is extremely focused on developing and maintaining relationships with Chamber Members both new and ongoing.  Forward and innovative thinking will allow Heather to be an asset to the Chamber as it continues to grow and flourish in Southern Saratoga County.
