Ribbon Cutting for Town of Milton Playground 9/29/15

A ribbon cutting was held for the Grand Opening of the new playground in the Town of Milton, located inside Milton's Burgess Kimball Memorial Park on Woodthrush Court.

Several town residents along with Assemblyman Jim Tedisco gathered at the Burgess-Kimball Memorial Park Tuesday for the unveiling of a playground specially built for children with disabilities.

It is the first of its kind in Saratoga County. Instead of dirt on the ground, there is special rubber surfacing to increase safety and accessibility. It was built with all kids in mind. Children with disabilities can play along side kids who aren't disabled.
